Job Qualification Requirements:
High school diploma. One (1) year of related experience is required. Previous experience and proficiency in guiding or outdoor recreation (such as hiking, swimming, diving and kayaking) is necessary. Must have or be able and willing to obtain and maintain a valid CNMI Driver’s License to safely drive company vehicles through various tour/work sites. Must be able and willing to work shifts, evenings, graveyard, early mornings, holidays, and weekends. Foreign language skills in Chinese or Korean are a plus for guiding international groups. Must have basic First Aid and CPR certifications or be able and willing to obtain the certifications. Must possess the ability to adapt to changing weather conditions and maintain a positive demeanor. Must be physically able to walk and stand for long periods of time.

The position involves planning, organizing, and leading tours, island excursions and outdoor activities for individuals and groups, selling tour packages and escorting individuals or groups on sightseeing and shopping tours through local establishments and scenic spots.
- Greeting and assisting all arriving and walk-in customers.
- Address customer queries regarding optional tours and other onshore/island activities.
- Assist customers and coordinate with vendors and tour operations personnel for reservation bookings.
- Aid with guest accommodation such as hotel bookings, transportation arrangements and meal or land tour reservations.
- Answer office, customer and office phone calls and relay important messages. Resolve any problems with itineraries, services, or accommodations.
- Offer directions and other relevant information to customers.
- Describe tour points of interest and answer questions from customers.
- Escort customers in groups including pick up and drop off from the airport, on sightseeing tours or various tour sites on land and water.
- Safely drive company vehicles, conduct pre-operational inspections and report any deficiencies for repair or maintenance.
- Provide information about the CNMI, its historical sites, landmarks and popular attractions.
- Monitor tour group activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and aid in emergencies such as providing first aid or directing emergency evacuation, communicating with company officers and the company’s Safety & Health Officer.
